BTS and Little Mix Fans Are Angry With Simon Cowell for Creating ‘K-Pop Group’
Simon Cowell has managed to anger the crowd with his comments on television like American Idol. Now, he angered the entire internet by creating a new show that’s competing with X-Factor girl group Little Mix’s new series, The Search.
What’s worse: he’s creating another girl group!
Simon explained in The Sun interview that X Factor All Stars will not premiere next month. The series will be replaced with a spin-off X Factor The Band, which will premiere in 2020, along with Little Mix’s new series.
Rumor has it that Little Mix’s management asked Simon to co-produce the show, but he refused because a conflict of interest. Both parties had some beef and Little Mix’s show has been bumped. He will be creating a new genre: K-Pop.
“It 100 percent makes it more exciting there being a battle,” Simon said to The Sun. “K-Pop is ruling the world. This is a show to find a band to launch UK-Pop. It’s more than winning a record contract, it’s starting a new music wave.”
This stirred drama on Twitter with BTS’s ARMY and Little Mixers. Both shows will compete at the same time and fans are dragging Simon to support Little Mix’s show.
